**Le Carousel** is the electronic music project and live band from Belfast's acclaimed DJ and producer Phil Kieran, who kicked it off around 2012 as a bold shift from his high-energy techno roots on labels like Soma and Cocoon. Dropping their self-titled debut album that year on Kieran's PKR imprint, it packed 12 tracks of punk-funk vibes with standout singles like "Step Off the Carousel" and remixes from heavyweights Andrew Weatherall and David Holmes—launching with live shows at Belfast's MAC venue and gigs at events like IMS in Ibiza.

The project evolved with EPs and singles like *Carousel EP*, *Le Carousel Remixes* (featuring takes from The Hacker and Max Cooper), "Destroy Us," "Good Times (Phil Kieran Remix)," and more recent gems such as *Echo Spiegel*, "We're All Gonna Hurt," "Light The Flare," and "The Good One" from the long-brewing *The Humans Will Destroy Us* album in 2025—blending shoegaze electronics, kosmische drift, and dancefloor melancholy that fans like Carl Craig dug. Kieran handled songwriting, production, and even backing vocals live with collaborators like Roisin Stewart, keeping the energy raw and immersive.
