Ain't

Ain't is a London-based five-piece band formed in the summer of 2022, known for blending the stranger sides of ’90s guitar music, post-punk, and shoegaze into a sound that skillfully balances nostalgia with fresh creativity. The group consists of George Ellerby (guitar/vocals), Ed Randall (guitar), Hanna Baker Darch (vocals), Chapman Ho (bass), and Joe Lockstone (drums). Their debut single “Oar,” written during the pandemic, captures themes of frustration and disillusionment with leadership, with Hanna’s vocals oscillating between sardonic detachment and explosive emotion.
