Fairy Bones

Fairy Bones is a Phoenix-based alternative rock band known for their raw energy, genre-blending sound, and candid lyrical intensity. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Chelsey Louise, the group—including Robert Ciuca (guitar), Matt Merritt (bass), and Ben Healey (drums)—formed in 2014 and quickly carved a niche with their mix of punk grit, pop hooks, and grunge-inspired textures. Their 2017 debut album *0% Fun* and its 2019 follow-up *Dramabot* solidified their reputation for tackling themes like mental health, self-doubt, and societal frustration with unflinching honesty, mirrored in tracks like "Wish I Wasn't This Way" and "No One Can Suffer Like I Can."

Renowned for explosive live shows, Fairy Bones became a staple of Arizona’s indie scene, blending cheeky rebellion (see "Bullshit, Ur a Nice Guy") with vulnerable introspection. Their recent singles, including the fizzy angst of "Pink Plastic Cups" and the sardonic "8 Ball," continue their tradition of pairing sharp social commentary with riff-driven chaos. While they’ve teased new material sporadically since 2020, their existing catalog remains a cathartic love letter to misfits navigating life’s messy edges.
