Matchbox Youth

Matchbox Youth is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Jacksonville, Florida. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist Ryan Dunn, guitarist Matt Flynt, bassist Paul Doucette, and drummer John Stanier. Matchbox Youth released their debut album, "Yourself or Someone Like You," in 1996, which spawned the hit singles "Push" and "On the Radio." The band's follow-up album, "Status," was released in 1999 and featured the singles "Why Can't You Be" and "Smooth." Matchbox Youth disbanded in 2001, but reunited in 2010 and have continued to release music and tour sporadically since then.
