Crest Glider is an unsigned band from Wolverhampton, England, consisting of Jon Collins (vocals, guitar, keys), Sean Carroll (bass), Mark Grigg (drums), and Kelly Bird (vocals, guitar, keys). The band members, except for Sean, met at school in the Black Country area of the West Midlands. Kelly and Jon began jamming and writing music together after university, and Sean joined later as Kelly's fiancé. Their sound is described as frenetic and dreamlike, reflecting the diverse musical influences of its members, including Bowie, Pulp, Pixies, and Arctic Monkeys.
Crest Glider has released several tracks, including "Horror," "When Sirens Smile," and "Queen's Head." Their music often blends different styles, creating a unique sound that is both energetic and ethereal. The band has been active in the Midlands music scene, drawing inspiration from local bands and artists. They have also experimented with filmmaking, self-directing their music videos. Crest Glider invites fans to experience their lively performances and enjoy their music, which they describe as the kind they want to hear themselves.
