Blue Foundation

Blue Foundation is a Danish electronic music band that has been veiling the contours of dream-pop, shoegaze, and downtempo genres since the late 1990s. The brainchild of producer and singer Tobias Wilner and multi-instrumentalist Bo Rande, Blue Foundation first made waves in Copenhagen's underground before ascending to international recognition. Their ethereal soundscapes, often characterized by melancholic melodies and cinematic moods, have not only earned them a dedicated fanbase but have also become synonymous with scene-setting in various films, TV shows, and commercials.

The band gained a wider audience in 2006 when their haunting track "Eyes on Fire" was featured in the "Twilight" film saga, cementing their influence on modern pop culture. Throughout their career, they have continued to push the bounds of their sound, nurturing their discography with a multitude of singles, albums, and remixes. Their recent project, "Selected Work 1999-2002 (remastered + b-sides)" released in three volumes, is a dive into the past, serving both as a reimagined memorial of their early work and an exhibition of their sonic evolution. Blue Foundation's ability to remix and adapt their work, like with the Skeler and Michael Bibi remixes of "Eyes on Fire," or the introduction of fresh cuts like "Where the End Begins," keeps their music both relevant and revered within the ever-shifting landscape of electronic music.
