Free Pony is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2016 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt Popieluch, bassist and vocalist Emily Underhill, and drummer and vocalist Nick Aguilar. Free Pony's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "Or Best Offer" (2018) and "Addictive Fictions" (2020), and a full-length album, "Missed Magic" (2022). Free Pony has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The Killers, and Interpol.
