Olivier Fortin

Olivier Fortin is a Canadian harpsichordist, organist, and fortepianist known for his elegant interpretations of Baroque and Classical repertoire. He has released numerous recordings, often focusing on the works of J.S. Bach, as well as French composers like Couperin and Leclair. His discography also includes explorations of lesser-known composers and intriguing thematic projects like "Routes du café," which explores the musical influences surrounding the 18th-century coffee trade.

Fortin's performances are praised for their technical brilliance and expressive depth. He regularly performs throughout Canada and internationally, both as a soloist and with ensembles. Beyond his concert career, he is dedicated to teaching and serves as a professor of harpsichord and organ at the Université de Montréal.
