Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1998. The group consists of Peter Hayes (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Robert Levon Been (vocals, bass, guitar), and Leah Shapiro (drums). BRMC's music incorporates influences from various rock genres, including garage rock, psychedelic rock, and blues rock, resulting in a gritty, atmospheric, and soulful sound that has resonated with fans for over two decades.

With their self-titled debut album released in 2001, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club quickly established themselves as torchbearers for the revival of raw, stripped-down rock music. Through the years, they've persevered in the music industry, facing both triumphs and tribulations, including the death of Robert Been's father and their sound engineer, Michael Been, in 2010. Their critically acclaimed discography boasts a series of albums that explore sonic boundaries while maintaining a strong core of dark lyricism and visceral musicianship. Releases like "Specter At the Feast," "Beat the Devil's Tattoo," and their most recent studio album, "Wrong Creatures," showcase their continued evolution as a band, cementing them as enduring figures in the alternative rock scene.
