Field Sleeper is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The band was formed in 2016 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt Bachmann, bassist and vocalist Emily Kempf, and drummer and vocalist Jake Nussbaum. Field Sleeper's music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, with Bachmann's introspective lyrics and Kempf and Nussbaum's intricate harmonies. The band has released two EPs, "Field Sleeper" (2017) and "Mosquitoes" (2019), and a full-length album, "Someone From Home" (2021). Field Sleeper has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The War on Drugs, Real Estate, and Beach House.
