Flitcraft

Flitcraft is a progressive heavy rock project from Melbourne, Australia, spearheaded by singer and guitarist Phillip T. King, who previously played in bands like Galaxy and Butterfly. Born out of the creative isolation during the global pandemic, Flitcraft has evolved into a distinctive blend of hard rock and traditional heavy metal with a quirky, progressive edge. Since their inception, they have released three albums: *Our Long Journey to the Middle* (2022), *House at the Centre of the Universe* (2023), and their latest, *Transmission Echo* (2025), which showcases their growth into a band capable of weaving intricate, otherworldly, and emotionally resonant music.

The band includes drummer Jack Samuels and bassist Zac Halpin, who joined to enrich Flitcraft’s sound. Their music channels influences from classic rock giants like Deep Purple and Iron Maiden while adding a fresh, accessible twist, mixing thrilling riffs and imaginative songwriting.
