Cloudbelly is an indie folk band from Portland, Oregon. The band was formed in 2010 by Kelley Deal (formerly of The Breeders) and Mike Montgomery (formerly of The Decemberists). Cloudbelly's music is characterized by its dreamy, ethereal sound, with Deal's haunting vocals and Montgomery's intricate guitar work. The band has released four albums to date, including their most recent, "Whistling," which was released in 2022. Cloudbelly has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as The National, Bon Iver, and Sufjan Stevens.
