stella

**Σtella** (that's sigma-tella, pronounced Stella) is the Athens-based painter, visual artist, and performer born Stella Chronopoulou, who's been crafting dreamy, vintage-tinged pop since her teens. She started secretly writing songs at 16 while studying at Athens School of Fine Arts, playing in bands like Fever Kids and CHEST, and eventually dropping her debut EP *Keep Me Naked* online, channeling influences from Whitney Houston, Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, and her parents' 50s/60s record collection. Her self-titled 2015 electro-pop album and 2017's *Works For You* on Inner Ear Records made her a Greek indie star, with buzz, festival gigs, and even soundtracking the European Games in Azerbaijan.

Hustling hard with endless emails, she linked up with producer Redinho for her international breakthrough, landing on Sub Pop with 2022's *Up and Away*—a love-soaked journey of growth—and following with *Charmed*, *Girl Supreme*, and her fifth album *Adagio* in 2025, featuring her first Greek tracks like “Omorfo Mou” alongside collaborators like !!!'s Rafael Cohen. Now a modern Greek export with millions of Spotify listeners, Σtella blends psych-pop, synth vibes, and escapist melodies that feel like a warm blanket.
