Austero
**Austero** is a Spanish indie rock/pop act known for crafting moody, introspective tracks that blend gritty guitar textures with lo-fi electronic touches. Emerging in the late 2010s, their sound nods to post-punk revival and bedroom-pop intimacy, often pairing poetic Spanish lyrics with brooding melodies. Releases like *Reina Frustrada* and *Cielo Líquido* showcase their knack for balancing raw emotion with catchy hooks, while the live album *Warp Proudly Presents: Austero (En Vivo)* hints at their scrappy, DIY live energy. Though details about the band’s lineup or origin remain low-key, their growing discography—including recent singles *Jacky Boy* and *Calma*—solidifies them as a rising voice in Spain’s alternative scene, perfect for fans of melancholic bops and lyrical self-reflection.
