Gus G.

Gus G. (born Kostas Karamitroudis) is a Greek heavy metal guitarist best known internationally for his work with his band Firewind and for serving as Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist during the late 2000s, including appearances on Osbourne’s *Scream* album and subsequent touring. A technically sharp player with a modern shred-meets-melody approach, he’s built a reputation both as a bandleader and as a high-profile sideman in the metal world.

Outside of his band work, Gus G. has also maintained a solo career focused on instrumental guitar music, and he’s known in the gear community as well—most notably through his long-running association with Jackson Guitars, which has included signature models.
