One Hundred Moons

One Hundred Moons is a Toronto-based shoegaze band known for their lush, layered soundscapes and immersive live performances. The band—made up of Collin Young, Jen Vella, Justin Hunt, Matt Laplante, and NJ Borreta—blends dreamy shoegaze textures with the emotional weight of post-rock and the grit of ’90s alt-rock. Drawing inspiration from acts like My Bloody Valentine and Radiohead, their music is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern, exploring themes of longing, transformation, and inner reflection.

Since their debut album in 2021, One Hundred Moons has quickly made a name for themselves in the indie music scene, releasing well-received EPs like *Take Two* and singles such as “Ear to Ear,” “Volodya,” and “The Architect.” Their latest album, *Black Avalanche*, continues to showcase their ability to balance beauty and unease, melody and noise, making them one of Toronto’s most compelling emerging acts.
