Creepoid
Creepoid was a Philly-based band known for blending dreamy shoegaze textures with grunge-y, fuzzed-out rock and slowcore vibes. Formed in 2009, the band carved out a sound that was both heavy and hypnotic, characterized by haunting vocals, dense guitar layers, and emotionally raw songwriting. They released a string of acclaimed records, including Horse Heaven (2011), their self-titled LP Creepoid (2014), and Cemetery Highrise Slum (2015), showcasing their evolution and deepening intensity.
Creepoid built a reputation for their powerful live performances and earned a loyal underground following, touring with acts like Balance and Composure and Against Me!. Though the band announced their breakup in 2018, their discography continues to resonate with fans of dark, atmospheric rock.
