flyckt, whose real name is Rasmus Flyckt, is a Stockholm-based artist, producer, vocalist, and songwriter known for his blend of electro-pop with techno influences. He first gained attention as a founding member of the Swedish indie pop band Urban Cone, which started while he was still a teenager. Urban Cone released several albums, including *Our Youth* (2013), which was produced and recorded in his living room. After the band, flyckt launched his solo career, dropping his debut single “Spotlight” in 2020, a track inspired by personal experiences and featuring hypnotic synths and modern pop fused with electronic percussion.

Growing up in a musical family, with a father who was a renowned mixing engineer working with stars like Britney Spears, flyckt developed a rich understanding of studio life early on. His debut EP *Instant Gratification pt. 1* explores themes like escapism, depression, and the quest for acceptance through a sophisticated electro-pop lens. He cites influences spanning Nicolas Jaar, SebastiAn, and Bon Iver, revealing a wide-ranging and experimental musical approach. His recent releases, such as “Jonny Boy” and “LIMONCELLO,” continue to showcase his evolving electronic sound and heartfelt songwriting.
