It ranges from rigorous, sometimes thorny complexity and experimental textures to luminous choral writing and tightly driven rhythmic minimalism, often borrowing energy from rock, jazz, folk, film scoring, and electronic sound worlds. Orchestral and chamber works sit alongside vocal, sacred, and stage pieces, with an ear for vivid timbre, sharp contrasts, and expressive immediacy. The result is music that can be intellectually demanding yet direct, rooted in tradition while restlessly reinventing it.
