Hauntology

Hauntology is a music genre characterized by its eerie, nostalgia-tinged soundscapes, often incorporating elements of ambient, electronic, and experimental music. Emerging in the 1990s and 2000s, hauntology drew inspiration from the avant-garde and krautrock traditions, as well as the decaying textures of old tapes and vinyl.
