Stateside Dnb

Stateside DnB, or Stateside Drum and Bass, is a North American variant of the high-energy, breakbeat-driven genre originally forged in the UK. It incorporates tight, rhythmic drum patterns, typically at tempos ranging from 160 to 180 beats per minute, with heavy basslines and a fusion of various styles, such as jazz, funk, and soul, contributing to its melodic and atmospheric elements. The genre often showcases a blend of classic and modern electronic sounds, characterized by polished production techniques. Artists like Random Movement and Submorphics bring a soulful and rolling liquid vibe to the mix, while producers like Gridlok and Sub Killaz infuse harder, more aggressive bass and percussive elements, reflecting the diversity and innovation of the American DnB scene.
