Alex Phratz

Alex Phratz, born Alessandro Prazzoli in Milan in 1986, is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ with a passion for the scene that began in his childhood and quickly grew into a full-time commitment. By age 14, he was already spinning records and honing his mixing techniques, graduating from private parties to Milan’s club circuit. Over the years, he’s built a reputation for blending sought-after underground tracks with popular hits from both the past and present, and he’s known for his professionalism behind the decks.

As a producer, Alex has released music under several aliases and in various side projects—Double Sound, The Elektroprostitute, Fashion Cocktail, Groove Crime, Punk Clubber, Houseways, DA Monkey Business, and Phratz & Kar—showcasing his versatility across house, electro, techno, and dance genres. His work has appeared on a wide array of labels including Blanco Y Negro Music, Trax Records, and Four Stripes Records. Since 2014, he’s focused primarily on his Alex Phratz project, delivering melodic and radio-friendly house tracks alongside deeper club cuts. He’s also active as a radio host, notably on Radio Atlanta Milano with "DANCE & THE CITY," and has seen his music licensed internationally, cementing his presence in the global dance music community.
