The Tellers

The Tellers are a Belgian indie-rock band formed in 2005 by frontman Ben Baillieux-Beynon and guitarist Charles Blistin, who started as teenage collaborators bonding over acoustic sessions and influences like Bob Dylan and The Libertines. After gaining traction through radio exposure and energetic live shows at venues like Brussels’ Botanique Club and festivals like Dour, they released their debut EP *More* in 2006 and the full-length *Hands Full of Ink* in 2007, which cracked Belgium’s top 10 albums and landed their track “More” in *FIFA 08* and ANZ Bank ads. The band evolved through lineup changes—including a five-piece era with members like Joos Houwen and César Laloux—and released their third album, *Close the Evil Eye*, in 2010, blending raw energy with melancholic folk-rock storytelling. While “Tears Fell From My Eyes” isn’t mentioned in available records, their catalog reflects a DIY spirit that carried them from bedroom recordings to European tours.
