Backwards Charm

Backwards Charm is a dreampop/indie quartet from Austria, formed by Daniel Lang (vocals/guitar), Thomas Bauer (guitar), Martin Teutsch (bass), and Thomas Hofer (drums). Hailing from Salzburg and Vienna, the band emerged in 2018 with their debut EP *dreamlessly* and quickly followed up with the full-length *Far from Heaven in My Mind*, showcasing their signature blend of gauzy guitars and introspective lyrics. Recent releases like *Nevergreen* (2020), *A Dream About Being a Person* (2024), and *Everybody’s Nobody* (2025) continue their moody, melodic evolution, cementing their status as purveyors of shimmering, melancholic pop for night owls and daydreamers.
