Fleeting Temples

Fleeting Temples is the solo project of Swedish multi-instrumentalist Rickard Sjöberg, previously known as the keyboardist for the indie sextet Lacrosse. Sjöberg describes himself as a solo artist, collaborator, and creator of concept albums. His recent work includes a trilogy of albums exploring heavy themes such as toxic masculinity, depression, and the end of the world, with releases like *The Invisible Man* (2022), *Zenith / No Shadow* (2023), and *Beast* (2024). This trilogy showcases a blend of diverse influences, ranging from My Bloody Valentine to Sufjan Stevens and Sonic Youth, reflecting a richly textured and atmospheric sound.

Alongside Sjöberg, Fleeting Temples includes drummer Tobias Dahlström, with Adam Vesterbacka handling mastering duties. The project is known for its introspective and expansive sonic landscapes, delivering emotionally resonant music that combines shoegaze, indie, and experimental elements. Songs such as “Only,” “Black Hole,” and “Relapse” highlight Fleeting Temples' evolving sound and deeply personal lyrical content.
