Indie Liguria

Indie Liguria is a coastal strain of Italian indie rooted in the Ligurian scene, where sunlit melancholy meets streetwise groove. It blends jangly guitars and lo‑fi pop songwriting with ska‑leaning offbeats, dubby basslines, and hip‑hop phrasing, often swapping between Italian, dialect, and playful slang. The mood is cinematic yet everyday: scooters at dusk, harbor neon, cramped bars, and seaside escapism, carried by hooks that feel both intimate and made for sing‑alongs. Production tends to be warm and DIY—samples, organs, brass stabs, and scratchy textures—balancing irony and tenderness with a relaxed, salt‑air bounce.
